True. Just like middle managers who like to have their team in the office so they feel important.
This is one of the biggest hurdles in the move for home/home-office working.
It's also a way of preventing misrepresentation of what you said to the other party; of unfair shifting of blame; and of nailing someone down to the undertakings they gave you.
